The attached document contains activities meant to help students get into/stay in shape for the spring fitness testing. When printing, please select landscape.
In the gradebook for phys ed and physical fitness, each student's daily points are entered for each day they have class. If your child receives anything less than a 6 out of 6 for their daily points, I put in a note and publish the note to communicate in which area(s) points were lost. Beginning with the 3rd quarter, I will be using a code system to communicate this same information in order to shorten the time it takes to enter grades. The new codes are listed below.....
U - For Unprepared. Students are required to be prepared for class with proper uniform including red shirt, black or navy shorts, and athletic shoes (1 point possible each day).
S - Safety. Students are expected to follow directions outlined to maintain a safe environment in class (1 point possible each day).
SPR - Social and Personal Responsibility. Students are expected to work well with others, follow directions, and be a positive part of the class environment (1 point possible each day).
P - Participation. Students are expected to actively participate in all activities in class (3 points possible each day). If a student loses multiple participation points it will be denoted with a P x2 or P x3.
